College & Career Readiness Day is Tuesday, February 4. We will run special presentations for scholars starting at 8:20 am; buses depart campus at NOON. We invite all scholars, families, and community members to join us in the Gym, anytime from 1-5:30 pm. Meet with your Advisor, teachers as needed, table presentations, and win door prizes! (Also, this is a final call for anyone wanting to participate in the Annual Parent Climate Conference on Wednesday, February 12, to text 801.633.6755 to register.)



Reminder: Midterm and Gradebook Closure is Friday, January 31. It is best for all assignments to be submitted by noon on Thursday, January 30. Parents/Guardians/Scholars have a great opportunity to meet with their Advisor and teachers on Tuesday, February 4, from 1-5:30 pm in the Gym. This is for CCR Day and there are many table presenters, along with workshops and dinner!

On Tuesday, February 4, scholars will get an immersive experience into the health careers and participate in various presentations. We will also complete course requests for the 2025-2026 school year. Buses depart campus at noon. Starting at 1 pm, in the Gym, scholars with their families and community members will get to visit with the scholar's Advisor, discuss Midterm grades with teachers, and explore various table presenters. (The Jr High BBB has a home game vs MV today - Jan 28 - at 5 pm with concessions by the Senior Class.)

(Current grades were mailed to the Post Office on Friday, January 24, along with teacher emails so parents/guardians can reach out with questions.) The Home Game vs Red Mesa today (Jan 27) is Senior Night and the first game begins at 2:30 pm.

The Home G/BBB games vs Monticello on Friday, January 24, start at 1 pm. Midterm is the following Friday (Jan 31) so it is vital that all assignments are completed in a high quality manner and submitted by noon on Thursday, January 30. HOSA (Health Occupations CTSO) is raising awareness for Blood Donor. Today is wear red and walk the track. Tomorrow is wear a band-aid; Thursday is check your heart rate; Friday is Red Ribbon Day.


Jr High BBB plays at ARL today (Jan 21) at 4 pm; JV G/BBB has a home game vs Shiprock NW at 5 pm. Special guests from the Center for Model Schools will be observing scholars and staff on Thursday, January 23, since this day is the 100th Day of Learning for this school year.

Reminder: No school for Monday, January 20, due to MLK Day. We resume with a regular B-day schedule on Tuesday, January 21. This is also the first day for the mid-year Reading Test called TOSCRF.


The home games vs Pinnacle today (Jan 16) begin with a C-game for boys at 1 pm. Concessions by 8th graders.

Come cheer on the Lady Raiders and Raiders as we play Rough Rock at home today (Jan 15), starting at 5:30 pm with concessions by the Senior Class. Also, the deadline to submit your silent bid for used wrestling mats is on Friday, January 17. The Bid Form may be picked up in the Front Office or downloaded from the flyer.


Culture Night with Benny Begay is today (Jan 14) at 5 pm in the Library. The Junior Class Parent Meeting will be at 6:30 pm in room 113 (with Ms Dee).


The Honor Band Concert will be live-streamed at 1:30 pm today (Jan 14). Go to YouTube and search "WHS Activities".

Since no JV teams are playing for Rough Rock, the games on Wednesday, January 15, will run at 5:30 pm (Varsity Girls) and 7 pm (Varsity Boys) with concessions by Seniors.

Home Jr High BBB vs Moab is today (Jan 13) at 5 pm with concessions by DECA. For Tuesday, January 14, join Benny Begay for Culture Night in the Library at 5 pm and/or Junior Class Parent Meeting at 6:30 pm in room 113 with Ms Dee. NOTE: Eligibility Check is on Friday, January 17, so make sure all assignments are submitted by noon on Wednesday, January 15.

We are still hoping to access a yearbook or senior collage from 1980, 1985, 1992, 1995, and/or 1997, so that we can get each graduating class up on the Raider Wall of Fame!
