
Junior High Girls' Basketball starts practice on Monday, October 27, at 3:15 pm in the WHS Gym. Register My Athlete must be completed and to do so, a physical must be uploaded. Then, bring the physical to Coach Bridget Whitehorse. The Parent Meeting will be in Room 129 on Wednesday, October 29, at 6:30 pm. For State Volleyball, the Lady Raiders play St Joseph at 10:30 am and the second game is scheduled for 1:30 pm. Miss Indian Broken Trail (MIBT) Club is hosting a Country Western Dance by Latigo for Saturday, October 25, at 9 pm. Entry is $10 with a $5 re-entry. All proceeds go back to MIBT Club. MIBT Club is also hosting a Veteran's Day Gourd Dance on Saturday, November 8, starting at 12 pm. We invite all Gourd Societies and all Lady Shawl Dancers! The Home Football Game tonight (Oct 17) will recognize our Senior Football Athletes: TristanB, KelanD, ElamE, AidenH, NateoS, and LanceT! Friday Night Lights is on October 17 as the Raider Football Team plays MVHS with kick-off at 7 pm. We will be recognizing senior football and cross country athletes; all concessions proceeds go to Football. Heads up for next week (October 20-24) when scholars and staff are invited to join HOSA in raising awareness for Breast Cancer. Monday, October 20, is wear a pink ribbon day and Tuesday will be posting positive notes in the Scholar Commons.

The 2nd Quarter starts today (October 14) and Lady Raiders Volleyball play Monticello at home starting at 4:30 pm. We are celebrating our Senior Volleyball members: Wachaykeah, KeiraL, KeiraC, and Darylnn! All proceeds from concessions to WHS FFA. We respectfully request that appointments for scholars to attend medical, dental, and other purposes be made after 3 pm or on Friday's after 1 pm. Scholar safety is our priority so we only permit checkout to individuals listed as "Custodial" in Aspire. Today (October 9) is the last day of 1st quarter. There is no Late Home Bus so all scholars will need to leave campus by 3:20 pm. Fall Break starts tomorrow (Oct 10) and there is also no school on Monday, October 13. This is a great time to reset, refocus, and restart fresh for 2nd quarter, which begins on Tuesday, October 14, at 8:20 am!
